Getting Started
Step One - Meet
We provide a free, no obligation 1 hour consultation. This can be in person, if you are able to come into the office, over the phone, or at your business. In addition to the meeting, we offer a free review of your prior tax returns. The meeting is informal, yet professional as we are just discussing what your needs/pain areas are. We will discuss the necessary details of your business or personal finances to get a good understanding of what you need and how we can best help.
Step Two - Recommendation
After the meeting, we will review our meeting notes and the provided tax returns. If we find anything within the tax returns, we will contact the client via phone call to discuss what their options are to correct the tax returns.
If nothing is found in their tax returns, I create a list of projects that need to be completed on an ongoing basis or that are one-time services needed. (i.e. business & personal income tax returns, payroll taxes, W-2’s and 1099’s, monthly or quarterly bookkeeping, etc.)
We will then estimate the cost of these services and contact the client via phone call or get together in person to discuss.
Step Three - Join Forces
Once you have reviewed and accepted our proposed estimate, and you’re ready to get started, Booms Accounting will add you to our list of clients and begin working to implement the needed services. If you are transitioning from another accounting firm, we will provide you with information to make the transition as seamless as possible.
